![]() Wanda Annette Basye (65), affectionately known as Annette, of Itasca, Texas, passed away Saturday afternoon, September 19th, 2020. Annette graduated from Itasca High School in 1973 and continued her education at Hill Junior College, where she attended cosmetology school. She then went on to attend Navarro College’s dispatch program. Following that, she was employed by the Hill County Sheriff’s Office, as both a dispatcher, and a detention officer. In her later years, she worked at WalMart in Hillsboro, Texas, and eventually retired. Annette had an infectious laugh. She was loving, spontaneous, and sassy. She loved listening to the Blues. She was most loved for her honesty. She was a strong and resilient woman, who loved her family dearly. Her faith and love for God was so important to her. She knew she was always under His wing. She was a proud Mother and Nana. She was truly the life of the party. She is preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Warren Allen; sisters, Juanita Matthews and Loria (Baba) Edmondson-Smith. She is survived by her brother, Thomas (Bubba) Allen; 3 daughters, Tisha Willis, Rachelle Willis, and Crystal WIllis. Her nieces and nephews, Beth Allen, Scotty Edmondson, Undra Smith and Devin Smith, and Marcus Allen. Her grandchildren, Sha’Shana Fennell, Danielle and Dezireah Wilson, N’Dea and Derrick Hoyle, as well as a great grandchild Skyler Malone. Annette was also loved by numerous extended family members and dear friends. She will be missed by all who were blessed to know her. It was Annette’s request that her services remain private. She put up a good fight though she had cancer. She fought to the very end. She will be deeply missed; May she rest well in eternal peace. Psalms 23

![]() Brandi Blevins-Watson, 40, left us much too soon on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, September 26th at 2:00pm at Keller Church of Christ with family welcoming guests prior to at 1:00pm. She was born December 17, 1979 to Cheryl and Randy Blevins of Fort Worth. She graduated from Keller High School and went on to attend Chelsea University and received a degree in Psychology, then she attended North Texas University and received her Doctor in Psychology degree. Brandi’s passion was her boys, spending time with her family and was delighted in doing things for others. She loved parties and loved decorating them, one of her passions was decorating parties for others. Brandi had the opportunity to sing at the Grand Ole’ Opry. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Brandi is preceded in death by her father, Randy Blevins and grandfathers, “Papa” Jerry Pippin and William Blackwood. She is survived by her loving boys, Tate and Mason Watson; mother, Cheryl and RicK Neal; sister, Kammy and husband, Kyle Arment, brother, Brody Blevins; step-brothers, Phillip Neal and wife, Laura and Robert Neal; grandmothers, Vernell Pippin and Vivian Neal; 2 nephews, 2 nieces and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and loving friends. ![]() Eleonore Hede, 98 years old, passed on Tuesday September 8th, 2020 at home with her loved ones. Eleonore was born June 29th, 1922 in Wetzlar, Germany to Ernst & Helene Freitag. She was the youngest of the 3 children. All preceded her in death. She survived living in Germany during World War II. She attended architect school but was unable to finish due to World War II. She married Edward J. Hede Jr. in 1949 and had 2 children Michael Hede and Deborah Hede. Eleonore and Edward met during World War II when he was stationed in Germany as an American soldier. After the war Eleonore received a one-way ticket to America from Edward. She’s took the flight and never looked back. Eleonore loved her family and at the age of 80 sold and left her home in Tucson to help raise her granddaughter Rosie in Texas. April 2020 Eleonore got to meet her first and only great grandchild Brinlee. Eleonore loved her more than anyone else. She was a very generous and helping lady however she took no prisoners. Eleonore loved to read romance novels and had a collection. Eleonore lived a very long and adventurous life. Preceded in death by, her husband, Edward J Hede Jr.; brothers, Ernst Freitag Jr and Gerhard Freitag; mother, Helene Freitag; father, Ernst Freitag Sr; cousin and her best friend, Inge Hild. Survived by, her oldest son, Michael Hede; daughter, Deborah Hede; granddaughter, Olivia “Rosie” Hede and great granddaughter, Brinlee Lynn Holmes. Service at 3pm Monday, September 21, 2020 in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, where Eleonore and her husband, Edward, will both be laid to rest. ![]() Debra Alene DaVault, 55, gained her wings on September 10, 2020, at 3:36 am while resting peacefully at her daughter’s home. Graveside Service: 12:30 pm Friday at Bluebonnett Hills Memorial Park of Colleyville, Tx. Deb was born on August 18, 1965 to David and Jane Matthews. She was a loving mother and grandmother, as well as daughter, sister, cousin, and friend. She loved spending as much time as she could spoiling her grandkids. She loved her kids with her whole heart and would do anything for them that she could. She was always so giving and would give anyone the shirt off her back if she could. She kept everyone she loved as close as possible. She was a big Dallas Cowboys fan, even through the bad times. She was a Daddy’s girl and was his “shining star” and would call him daily just to hear his voice. She will be missed by many, but never far from heart. She is proceeded in death by her grandparents, mother “Jane Elliott”, brother ‘Jimmy Matthews’, and Patricia Parten. Debra is survived by her father “David Matthews”, brother “Brandon Matthews”, sister ‘Barbra Beasley’, son Joshua DaVault and Crystal, son Justin DaVault and Courtney, and daughter Ashley DaVault and Jeff, as well as several grandchildren including Josh Jr, Taegon, Jace, Kenzlie, Bryce, Skylar, Cadee, and Cheyenne, as well as aunts, uncle and cousins. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not parish but have eternal life.” -John 3:16 ![]() William Nathan Harrison, 61, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 25, 2020. Memorial Service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, September 9th at Corley - Porter Funeral Home, 208 N. Canton, Mexia, Tx 76667. Bill was born December 5, 1958, he was a kind, caring and compassionate man. He was dearly loved by his wife, Sharon; stepchildren, Heather, John and Joseph; grandchildren, Kelsey and Emily and was very proud to be called Papa Bill. He was a hard-working man who loved the Lord and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. |
