William Michael Arata, 38, passed away suddenly on April 28, 2024, in Denton Texas. Will was born to Michael and Melody Arata in Grand Prairie, Texas on September 22, 1985. He grew up in Arlington, Texas and graduated from Mansfield High School in 2004. Will was an only child and the apple of his parents’ eye. Will was a wrestling maniac and once he got older, he and his father founded a wrestling community organization. That organization later changed hands and became Big Texas Pro Wrestling and they both stayed heavily involved. Will has been refereeing for Dallas Championship Wrestling since 2012. He was an outdoorsman that enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting hog and deer. Will was a very giving man that cared for his friends and family, he would give you the shirt off his back. He loved playing GTA and was super outgoing and funny. Will met the love of his life and passenger princess, Hannah Diviney in 2016. After a year long whirlwind romance they married in Denton County on July 7, 2017. They enjoyed traveling together as a family with their daughter, Aria. One of his favorite places to adventure was Colorado. He loved it there and was at home in the beauty of the mountains. Will was a family man and a hard-working provider. Will worked for the Denton State Supported Living Center for the last 9 years and had worked his way up to the Director of Security position. He was dedicated to his job and the people he loved. He will be sorely missed. Will was preceded in death by his father, Michael Arata; son, Joseph (JoJo) Arata; and all of his grandparents. He is survived by his loving wife, Hannah Arata; daughter, Aria Arata; mother, Melody Arata; aunts, Phyllis Kelsey, Allison Kelsey, and Vanita Thornton; uncles, Donald Pachen, Leslie Pachen, and Eddie Pachen; 8 cousins and countless friends.
