FORT WORTH -- Diana Obregon Ramos, age 48, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. A viewing and memorial service will be held at Lasting Impressions Funerals, 7125 Boulevard 26, North Richland Hills, Texas 76180 on Wednesday, October 26th from 5:00pm to 8:00 p.m. A second memorial service will be held at, Centro Cristiano Internacional Church on Saturday, October 29th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Pastor, German Ballesteros will be officiating. Memorials may be made to the Centro Cristiano Internacional Church, 4151 Culebra Road, San Antonio, Texas 78228. Diana was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 26, 1968 to Juan and Maria Obregon. Diana was married to Jose L. Ramos on October 6, 2007 in Fort Worth, Texas. They were married for 9 years. She graduated from Oliver Wendall Holmes high school in 1986. She worked five years as a Customer Service Representative in the Radiology department at University Hospital in San Antonio, and as a jeweler for many years in Fort Worth, most recently at Ridglea. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, as this was very important to her. She loved having company over and despite having moved to Fort Worth several years ago, she remained an avid Spurs fan! Diana is survived by her husband, Jose; her parents, Juan and Maria Obregon of San Antonio; maternal grandmother, Amalia Perez Casas of Durango, Mexico; son, Steven Andrew Ruiz of Fort Worth; daughter, Sarah (Corrigan) Rogers of Fort Worth and one granddaughter, Zoella; brothers, Alfonso (Sheryl) Obregon of Carrolton, TX, Ruben (fiancé Jennifer) Obregon of Los Angeles, CA, Juan (Monica) Obregon of San Antonio; sister, Elizabeth (Keith) Landrus of San Antonio; several loving nieces, nephews, the father of her children, Steven Ruiz and the rest of her family and friends. The family of Diana Ramos wishes to extend their gratitude to Baylor Scott & White Hospital for their support and assistance in her final days.
