Sharon Sue Conway, 70 years old, of Fort Worth, Texas went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on July 18, 2023, in her home. She was born in Abilene, Texas, on March 23, 1953, to Sealy Smith and Lyvonne Davis. She lived most of her young life in Weatherford where she graduated Weatherford Highschool in 1971. Sharon, Grammy, Mom, as she was known by her family, worked for Harris Hospital early in her career. She also worked for a Printing co. PPC, and Thompson Reuters. After 25+ years of working with Thompson Reuters, she retired. One of her favorite past times was to spend time with her family, especially her three grandchildren, Matthew, Eli and Aria. She was a loving wife to Chris Conway for over 23 years. When Sharon became ill, Chris Conway never left her side, and served his wife until she left to be with Jesus. Chris Conway had two daughters Rachel and Sarah, who were near and dear to her heart. Her son Chris Chandler was one of her biggest treasures and she lit up whenever she was around him. It was because of her faith and persistence in prayer, that Chris came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. She was a loving daughter to her mom Lyvonne Davis. Up until the point of her illness, she would regularly go to visit and care for her mother. Her kindness and generosity were never ending. Every friendship she had was very dear to her heart. She loved to continually pray for her family and friends. When Sharon was in the hospital, she saw how some people never received any visitors, and she said, ”Once I get better I’m going to come back to visit and pray for the people who don’t have anyone visiting or supporting them.” She is survived by her husband, Chris Conway; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Gloria Chander; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Castle Hill, daughter and son-in-law Rachel and Rom Da Costa; mother, Lyvonne Davis; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Latisha Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Donna Smith. She was preceded in death by her dad, Sealy Smith. A Celebration of life will be held for family and friends on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 1:00 – 3:00pm, please contact family for location. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the ministry I’m Blessed 2 www.imblessed2.com.
