Donnie Lee Kight, age, 52, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, November 17, 2019.
A Celebration of Donnie’s Life will take place Sunday, December 8, 2019 at 3pm, at his sister Patricia home, please contact family for directions.
Donnie was a jack of all trades and there wasn’t anything that he couldn’t do. He enjoyed working on cars, dancing, singing and eating pizza and hamburgers, but his most favorite food was that of his sister Patricia’s cooking. He never met a stranger, because he had one of the biggest hearts. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Donnie is preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert Lee Brashear and Margarita Picaso-Castaneda.
He leaves behind to mourn his passing, fiancé, Flancee Cecillia Ybarra; sisters, Patricia Picaso-Valdez (Ulisses) and Grace “Roseanna” Ramirez (Jaime); son, Donnie Lee Kight Jr.; five grandchildren, Xavier, Anthony, Isaac, Damien and Amiyah Flores along with a host of loving family and friends.
God saw he was getting tired, and a cure was not to be so he put his arms around him and whispered “come with me” with tearful eyes we watched him suffer and saw him fade away, although we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay, a golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.
