Timothy David James Hayes

​Timothy David James Hayes, age 75, passed away peacefully in Hurst, Texas May 13, 2022. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on August 2, 1946, to Veleta Bartmess and Sam T. Hayes. He attended Brewer High School and played trumpet in the marching band. He joined the Air Force upon graduation and turned 21 while fighting in Vietnam. He attended TCU for 2 years, after 3 1/2 years in the military. He was a salesman, a natural gift he had until he suffered a stroke at the age of 56. He was a member of Whites Chapel United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Sammye Jean Hayes; son, Tyler Andrew Hayes; grandson, Elijah Ronald Hayes and stepdaughter, Ivy Rebecca Odom. He loved people, music, and life. He was a lovable person who never met a stranger and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
 
A Celebration of Life will take place at 6100 Ashbury St., Apt. 3106, North Richland Hills, Tx 76180 at 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 21, 2022, hosted by, Sammy J. Hayes.
