In the late hours of Monday night, November 09,2020, Brad found a peaceful, shallow place to cross the river Jordan. He felt no pain as Jesus took his hand and lead him into the presence of GOD.
Service: 2:00pm Friday, November 13, 2020 at Pioneer Drive Baptist Church with visitation prior to service at 1:00pm, 4034 W Pioneer Dr., Irving, Tx 75061.
He was born October 13, 1959 to Henry and Naomi Ritter in Oak Cliff, Texas. His Sister, Renetta was a large influence on his life. They were a happy family growing up in Pioneer Drive Baptist Church. Brad had a hard life but faced it all with power and grace. He will be remembered for his kindness, sensitivity and optimistic attitude for life and living.
Brad was a fun-loving man. We found this on his Face book page; “I am old, and I realize I still have so many unanswered questions!!!! I never found out who let the Dogs Out...where's the beef...how to get to Sesame Street... why Dora doesn't just use Google Maps...Why do all flavors of fruit loops taste exactly the same......why eggs are packaged in a flimsy paper carton, but batteries are secured in plastic that's tough as nails...why women can't put on mascara with their mouth closed... why "abbreviated" is such a long word... why lemon juice is made with artificial flavor yet dish-washing liquid is made with real lemons... why they sterilize the needle for lethal injections... and, why do you have to "put your two cents in" but it's only a "penny for your thoughts" where's that extra penny going ... why do The Alphabet Song and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star have the same tune... why did you just try to sing those two previous songs... and just what is Victoria's secret? He was a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend. His mother said he was a ‘mamma’s boy’.
Preceded in death by, father, Henry Ritter; son, Clinton Ritter; sister, Renetta Ritter and step-father, Sam Young. Left to cherish his memory, daughters, Brittany Ritter of Ft. Worth, TX and Jessica Phillips and husband, Jared of Mabank, TX.; five grandchildren, Harlie, Autumn & Alyssa Ritter and Wyatt & Charlie Phillips; mother, Naomi Young; nephews, Matthew Ritter and Hunter Glick; uncle, James Dodd; aunt, Betty Stone, Wanell Dodd, Nell Dodd, along with a host of other family and friends.
