Debora (Debbie) Kay Stoddard, 69, passed away March 11, 2024. She was born March 5, 1955. Debbie wore a hat of all trades, she could do anything besides cook, but that was ok she can still make a couple of killer dishes. She had such a sense of humor and loved rock n' roll. Debbie was there when you needed her and was a great caretaker for her family. She was the best mother and the best grandma Layla, and I could have asked for. May she now be reunited in heaven with her husband and wonderful dad and grandpa, Randy Stoddard.

She left this earth peacefully surrounded the whole day with the love of her family. She was born in Fort Worth, TX to Everette J Davis and Jimmie Gertrude Davis on February 12. 1933. Minta was known for her unwavering candor and zest for life. Throughout her journey Minta leaves behind her cherished children Kitty Martell, Donald Bridschge, Cynthia Mayfield, Robert Raymond Bridschge along with 10 grandchildren (Candice, Michele,Andrea, Amanda, Melissa, Marie, Jason, Meredith, Patrick and Barbara) 23 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Who all brought her delight. Minta's life was marked by diverse experiences. She completed her education at San Marcos where she earned her bachelor’s degree in education. While in college, Minta was a Max Factor model. Looking at any pictures you can see why, as she was an exceptional beauty. Upon graduation she worked at American Airlines answering calls which led her to Harbison Fisher where she worked her way up to executive assistant and met the love of her life and beloved husband of over 30 years Roy A Simmans. After 35 years of diligent service, she retired from Harbison Fisher and brought her expertise to the Rachel Sherron Law Firm. Retirement didn't slow Minta down; she traveled the country in her beloved RV, exploring new horizons and embracing the beauty of nature. Her summers in Hawaii with college roommate Jan were filled with laughter and cherished memories. An avid animal lover, Minta's heart belonged to her furry companions, transitioning from dogs to cats over the years. Her outspoken nature was matched only by her wisdom, as she believed that true intelligence lies in the ability to articulate without resorting to profanity. Minta enjoyed continuing to learn new things at Tarrant college such as Spanish, photography, Chinese medicine, acupressure and even belly dancing... She also enjoyed classical music, operas, museums reading and tai chi in her spare time. As we bid adieu to Minta Simmans, let us remember her indomitable spirit, her love for family, and her unwavering principles. Though she may have left this world, her memory will forever reside in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Our beloved, Lee Roy Milam Jr., who was my uncle and my mother's brother was stricken ill after this recent cold spell and has gone home to be with our Christian Father and our Heavenly Milam family on Thursday, February 8, 2024. He was born July 2, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas and a Army veteran who served in the All-American 82nd Airborne and was a direct descendant of, Ben Milam. He had very strong faith in Jesus and always started his day with some Daily Bread or Bible reading. He was a blessing to our family and to everyone he loved. He adored the Isaacs, Gaither's, Booth Brothers and everything Classic & Godly. He worked at O'Reilly Auto Parts for 17 years and enjoyed parts delivery which he has done most of his life. My mother and I are devastated and at a loss for our thoughts, but we will continue to pray for God's love and guidance in Jesus' name. Lee Roy is survived by his sister, Geneva Milam Mitchell and nephew, John Mitchell. Sally Ann Kaspar of Fort Worth was welcomed home by her blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 4th, 2024. As she was passing, she described heaven, the colors, the sounds, and Jesus by her side. She had a glow on her face that was indescribable, and a smile no one could forget. She was born in Los Angeles, CA. to Roberta Thomas on September 15, 1951, her family was her everything. She had many names, Mom, Grandma Sally, and Gigi. Her children, Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, and Great-great grands made five generations for her to love. The rivers of blessings, that flow from a mother’s heart to her children, broaden and deepen with time creating an ocean of influence, and love. Her personality and values were so strongly influenced by her grandmother, that her desire to pass those qualities on to the following generations were always present in her life. She loved to “shop till you drop”. Antiques were her passion, walking through the antique malls, asking if we knew what something was, or so excited to tell us about a piece. She was a proper, sophisticated lady who enjoyed the theater, arts, and all things of beauty. Good food was more than just eating, it was an experience, an event, the place settings, flowers, linens, lighting, the texture of the food, the ambience, the entire experience. Heaven help them if the table had been set incorrectly, she would tell them all about it, that is just who she was. She loved interior design, she could walk into a room, look around, move some pieces, and it became a new creation. Behind the scenes is where she flourished. She loved working in the theater helping design sets and costumes, planning, and creating Daddy Daughter dances, and lots of luncheons and other special events. She was always willing to help someone plan and coordinate all types of events, and especially loved weddings. Oh, did she love her hats, lots, and lots of hats. So elegant in the black and white movie era from the forties. As a member of the “Red Hat Society”, she could always add to her collection. She was a member of the “Thimble Club” helping to fundraise, designing parties, and having Tea’s with her friends. She was an amazing photographer, great with people and children, and always enjoyed capturing that perfect lighting and pose. You always knew when she walked into a room, her energy, her smile, the essence she gave off. She could talk to anyone with grace and poise, whether it be King or pauper. She could make you feel like you were the most important person in the room. Now this is not to say she was perfect by any means, NOOOOOOOOOOOOO--- stubborn to a fault, but well-grounded in most things. Once she made up her mind there was no changing it. She was preceded in death by; Mother, Roberta Thomas and Grandmother, Florence Harmon Earhart. Sally leaves behind a loving family; Children, Mark and wife, Jo Cato, Tammy Portwood and husband, Boo Nilsson; Grandchildren, Kodi Crutcher and husband, Josh Rodriguez, Bray and wife, Katrina Cato; Eight Great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Along with a host of other family and friends. She leaves us with hearts full of memories that will always remain, to help fill the voids created by her passing but enable us to continue on our life’s journeys… as her comes to an end. We will forever miss her! A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date: In Lieu of flowers we would respectfully ask you to donate to Alzheimer’s Association of Fort Worth in her name.
