When Bud and Mary relocated to Burleson she ran a home daycare, caring for children from the ages of newborn to 4th grade. She also held her real estate license, helping people become home owners.
Her sweet spirit showed in any vocation she took on. Mary followed her husband to Palm Beach, Florida when he took a job with the sheriff’s department. The family enjoyed this area for six years before returning home to Texas. She kept busy with painting, drawing and collecting seashells. She loved the ocean views. Her family remembers her as a loving mother, wife, sister and grandmother who took wonderful care of her children and family. Mary became a Christian at a young age and was very secure in her walk with the Lord. Mary has been welcomed into eternity by her husband of 42 years, Buddy and her parents. Those left to mourn her include her children, Christopher Cryer and wife Ann, Elizabeth “Liz” Cryer and Brent Morris; grandchildren, Chance Cryer, Alex Stallings and Andrea Smith; siblings, Ruth Ann Osborne and husband Mike, Dorothy Hendrix and husband John, Noretia Howard and husband James, Roy Phillips and wife Gloria; numerous extended family and many dear friends.
Teena, a veteran who proudly served her country as a member of the U.S. Navy, enjoyed life and all it had to offer. She was a beautiful person who was loved by many. She left us way too soon and will forever be missed.
Survivors: partner, Jason Schwebke, their son, Jaxon and his sister Triniti; uncle and aunt, Gary and Fifi Raper; cousins, Lauren Hart, Brigitte and Delaney; and many dear friends. |
