![]() Brandon Scott Lucas, 36, of Arlington TX passed away June 25, 2019 surrounded by loved ones. A Celebration of Brandon's Life will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, June 29th at Feragne Villa, 755 Midcities Blvd., Hurst, 76054 followed by a gathering welcoming family and friends. Brandon was born October 14, 1982 in Fort Hood, Texas to Robert and Karen Lucas. His ability to make people laugh showed itself at a young age. As a child he enjoyed playing on the little league baseball team his father coached. Brandon was proudly called “Buckshot” by his dad. Throughout his life Brandon excelled at football, aggressive inline skating, competition fighting sports, and was just an overall athletic person. He attended Martin High School in Arlington, TX and was known by most as simply “B”. He was a loyal friend and would always have a smile waiting for you no matter how long it had been since you had last seen him. He was a giving person, even allowing many of us to claim his mother as our own (Momma Karen). He was always concerned with the happiness of others around him, maybe that is why he was always so silly...he just loved to see us smile. Brandon met the love of his life in Meghan Hopkins. They were married September 4, 2015 in Troup, TX. Brandon and Meghan shared so many beautiful things together, they loved being outdoors and sharing sunsets. Creating things together was a shared passion. They often enjoyed art, music, dancing, going to concerts, or painting a canvas together...just being together and being young silly and in love. They made yearly trips to Pensacola FL, and at a later date Meghan will spread his ashes where Brandon said, “Heaven meets the earth”. Brandon is survived by his loving wife, Meghan; parents, Robert (Bob) and Karen; sisters, Lindsey, Stacy and her husband Larry; nieces, Cherish, Daisy, and Chloe; mother-in-law, Trena; father-in-law, Kevin; 3 sisters-in-law; 4 brothers-in-law; aunts, uncles and extended family; numerous friends and 4 fur babies. Though we are devastated by our loss we will always honor “B” by trying to find the humor and fun in life like only he could. So try and laugh through those tears. We will see you again one day, bubba. For those wishing to send flowers or memorials to the family, please have them delivered to the Feragne Villa.
