Debra Alene DaVault, 55, gained her wings on September 10, 2020, at 3:36 am while resting peacefully at her daughter’s home.
Graveside Service: 12:30 pm Friday at Bluebonnett Hills Memorial Park of Colleyville, Tx.
Deb was born on August 18, 1965 to David and Jane Matthews. She was a loving mother and grandmother, as well as daughter, sister, cousin, and friend. She loved spending as much time as she could spoiling her grandkids. She loved her kids with her whole heart and would do anything for them that she could. She was always so giving and would give anyone the shirt off her back if she could. She kept everyone she loved as close as possible. She was a big Dallas Cowboys fan, even through the bad times. She was a Daddy’s girl and was his “shining star” and would call him daily just to hear his voice. She will be missed by many, but never far from heart.
She is proceeded in death by her grandparents, mother “Jane Elliott”, brother ‘Jimmy Matthews’, and Patricia Parten.
Debra is survived by her father “David Matthews”, brother “Brandon Matthews”, sister ‘Barbra Beasley’, son Joshua DaVault and Crystal, son Justin DaVault and Courtney, and daughter Ashley DaVault and Jeff, as well as several grandchildren including Josh Jr, Taegon, Jace, Kenzlie, Bryce, Skylar, Cadee, and Cheyenne, as well as aunts, uncle and cousins.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not parish but have eternal life.”     -John 3:16

I’ve only known Ashley a short while, and every time I was with her she’d talk about you or be on the phone with you at one point. And her relationship with her mother reminded me of my relationship with mine.
I’m so sorry for y’all’s loss and my deepest condolences to your whole family.
