W. Hilton Robinson, 73, passed away November 4, 2021. Interment will be private at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio Texas. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on December 23, 1947 and grew up in Cleburne, Texas. He graduated from Cleburne High School in 1966. He received a Bachelors and Master’s degree from Texas Christian University. He was an avid TCU fan. He loved to travel and had visited all 50 states and 9 foreign countries. He worked in construction for 15 years before being hired as a building inspector for the City of Fort Worth. He retired after 22 years as Chief Building Inspector in 2005. He then worked for a private company as a Commercial Building Inspector and retired in 2019. He was proud of his 22 years of service in the United States Army and the Texas Army National Guard. He retired as first Sergeant (E-8) in 2000. He also enjoyed 20 years working as an umpire for boys’ and girls’ baseball and softball leagues. He umpired from T-ball to college games. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosco Chase and Lorene Elizabeth Robinson of Cleburne. He is survived by his loving wife, Janice, who cared for him during his illness. He is survived by his brother, Rick Robinson and his wife, Diane of White settlement. He is survived by his son, Dan Robinson of Dallas and his daughter, Amanda Quicksall and her husband Dr. Andrew Quicksall of Dallas. He is also survived by stepchildren, William Orr and wife, Angelia of Itasca; Leslie Denby and husband, Randy of Burleson; Cutter Orr and wife, Nancy of Burleson and special daughter, Marsy Key and husband, Glenn of Trinidad, Colorado. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
