Terry Eugene Thomasson

​Terry Eugene Thomasson 82 of Richland Hills, Texas. Affectionately known as Pawpaw to most passed away after a brief illness on November 24, 2021. A private service will be scheduled at a later date.
 
Terry was born August 30, 1939 in Coryell County to Walter Clayton and Lola Mae Chapman Thomasson. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, 8 siblings, and wife of 45 years Linda Kay Holland Thomasson. He is survived by his children Annette Jordan (Eddie), Jerria Gassett (Carl), Tammy Maxwell (Paul), Tammy Kay Mc Swain; Jeanine Hippe (Dicky), Roy Thomasson, Troy Thomasson (Nancy), and Tommy Brown (Tammy); 26 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; multiple cousins, nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
 
In 1956 Terry enlisted in the United States Marine Corps he exited with an Honorable Discharged in October of 1962. He followed many career paths, but the two he took the most pride in were being a master machinist for over 45 years and being a Fireman in both fulltime and volunteer capacity.
 
He had a love of country music and dancing and spent many weekends in many of the Texas dance halls two-stepping the night away.
