Sherri Wynell Adkins

Sherri Cox Adkins passed away on October 3, 2020 at the age of 58.  She left us too soon but we know she is now without pain and resting in peace. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, October 10th at 2 PM at Central Baptist Church, 1120 Central Drive, Bedford, TX 76022.   
Sherri was born September 24, 1962 in Wichita Falls, Texas.  She was raised by loving parents Janice and Tony Atencio. As a child the family moved to Bedford, Texas and she would live in the Fort Worth area her entire life.  She attended Trinity High School in Euless.  Sherri was a kind and caring person and loved her family and friends, especially her sons Michael and Cody, with all her heart. Her smile and and laugh will be missed by all.   

She is preceded in death by father Tony Atencio and sisters Ava Robinson and Pamela Welch. 

Sherri is survived by her two sons, Michal Dyer and Cody Dyer, two granddaughters Mackenzie and Serenity, her mother Janice Atencio, sisters Janet Jankowski, Cindy Bethea, Tina Ferguson, loving cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends.  

​Sherri was a fighter and bravely battled many illnesses over the last 10 years. God bless her sweet soul and may she Rest In Peace.
