PictureSamuel "Sam" Herevia
Samuel “Sam” Herevia 42, a loving father, brother, son and fiancé went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 21st, 2021.

Visitation: 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday, January 31st at North Point Church, 933 Ranch Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76131.
Service: 10:00 am Monday, February 1st at North Point Church, 933 Ranch Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76131.
Interment to follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, 3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107.

Sam was born to Samuel and Minerva on October 24, 1978. He grew up and lived in Fort Worth, TX where he graduated from Pascual High School.  At the age of 22, he became the proud father of Sam Anthony Herevia.  Since he was a small child, Sam was thought of as being a very kind, generous, honest, respectful, and well-mannered person by all that knew him.  He regularly assumed roles and responsibilities for those he cared about most beyond what was expected of him.  He served not only as a big brother, but also as a father figure to David Herevia.  As an adult, Sam was always there for his friends and family when they needed him.  Though he worked two jobs, Sam always managed to make time for his loved ones, despite his busy work schedule. Soccer was Sam’s passion. He regularly played on multiple teams, both indoor and outdoor, in a single season, and made many great friends over the years, including his best friends Alex and Diego.  Sam was very competitive.  His enthusiasm and “never give up” attitude was the driving force that rallied his team to victory on more than one occasion, even when defeat seemed imminent.  He was also a big online gamer; his favorite game was Call of Duty (all of them).  Sam took pride in his appearance, and was often described as a sharp dresser - he always looked very GQ. Sam was a very lovable guy with a great sense of humor and a big heart. He was very optimistic, always had a smile on his face, and never let anything bring him down.  He always had a plan and loved setting goals for himself.

In 2019, Sam began dating Adriana, who would become the love of his life.  They shared a competitive nature and enjoyed playing soccer, loteria, online games, and collecting prizes at Dave & Busters. Sam was extremely excited about the next chapter in his life - making Adriana his fiancé, whom he had planned to marry in 2021. Sam greatly impacted and enriched many lives. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. He is survived by his son, Sam Anthony Herevia; his mother, and Stepfather Minerva & Kevin Booth; his father and stepmother, Samuel & Sandra Luz Herebia; brothers, David Israel Herevia & David Manuel Herebia; his fiancé, Adriana Rodriguez and his dog, Geo Herevia.
