![]() Irving: Renetta D. Ritter, 62, left her earthly body Saturday, September 15, 2018, and crossed into eternal life with Jesus Christ her Savior. Funeral: 12:00pm Thursday, August 20, 2018 at Pioneer Drive Baptist Church, 4034 W. Pioneer Dr. Irving, Tx.75060. Visitation: 10am till 12pm before service at the church. Renetta was born into this world in Dallas, TX, August 8, 1956, to the loving home of Henry A. and Naomi Ritter. She attended school in Irving, graduating from Nimitz High School where she enjoyed singing and sports, especially volleyball. She was a good student. She attended Court Reporting School and followed that career path in her younger days. Later she worked in Air Freight. She had a creative nature; enjoying planting flowers and watching them grow, venturing into coloring pictures and other things that caught her attention and interest. She loved her family and even while taking chemotherapy, tried to care for her mother in many ways. She was a long-time member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church, enjoying the teachings of the Lord from early childhood into early adulthood, then a recent re-dedication period. Raise up a child in the way they should go, and when they are old they will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 She was preceded in death by her father, Henry A. Ritter; nephew, Clinton Ritter; aunts, Willie Dean Shay and Lou Ann Welch, uncles, Donald Dodd and Jahue Dodd, and stepfather Sam Young. She is survived by: her sons, Matthew Ritter and Hunter Glick; mother, Naomi Young; brother, Bradley Ritter; aunt, Betty Stone; uncle, James Dodd, along with a host of other family and friends.

I am so saddened and shocked to learn that Renetta has passed away. She was the prettiest girl when we were at Nimitz. My conferences to her family.
