Kenneth Alton Webb, age 95 years, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 in the comfort of his daughters home in Euless Texas. Kenneth was born in Frisco, Texas on November 2, 1925 to James Dill Webb and Sybil Helen Shepard. At the young age of 18 years, Kenneth served in the United States Army in WWII, most notably, in the Battle of the Bulge. Soon after, he married the love of his life Neva Joy Gaston on June 16, 1948 at the First Methodist Church in Farmersville, Texas. Kenneth worked for Skillern's Drug, managing several of its individual stores during his 35 years. He and his wife Joy are survived by their four children, Linda Strahan, Ricky Webb, Wanda and her husband, Dennis Hadden and Jimmy Webb. Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother, father, brother and two sisters. Kenneth was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather known by most as "Papaw". He leaves behind a legacy of four children, 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, Laura Hodges, brother-in-law, Gary Huth and lovable dogs, Cookie, Scout and Oprah. Kenneth certainly lived his life to the fullest and he never met a stranger. He will be missed by so many. Kenneth‘s funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 7th from 10am to noon at Feragne Villa event venue, 755 Mid Cities Blvd. Hurst, TX 76954 with food and fellowship to follow. His burial will take place at the DFW National Cemetery at 1:30pm, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211.
