Jimmy was handsome, smart and the most witty person I have ever met. I have many fond memories of times spent with Jimmy, my sister (Anne) , my niece (Jennifer) and my nephew (John). I am so sorry for the family’s loss. Wherever Jimmy is, I know there’s a party! Party on, Jimmy!

Jimmy was my brothers best friend (Robert Barnes) I remember him being in our home as a kid, he was always funny. My parents just loved him, I remember hearing them talk about him when I was a kid, My Dad use to grab all of the boys at their knee and make them say uncle, I remember him saying No not this time, well needless to say he eventually did~ So many memories of a time that seemed so much simpler, where people actually came into each others homes to still talk, drink coffee. I am so sorry for your loss, he was a great guy! RIP Jimmy, you are soaring with the angels today. Prayers for your family~

Meeting Jimmy is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Once are eyes met. I knew he would be in my life forever. His infectious smile. So charismatic. We loved to dance all night long. . But most of all is our son Anthony Michael Strother. I knew then God had put us together. Jimmy is never far away. I look at Anthony and see Jimmy. .He was a wonderful Father . You will be dearly missed my love. But always remembered. ♥️ E.T. has gone home.

Jerry has told me so many great stories about all the gazillion cousins that he grew up with in Louisiana and in Ft Worth in the Diamond Hill neighborhood! So many good memories that we both share from that neighborhood! I’ve heard about Jimmy, Billy, Wayne, and Jerry driving up and down roller coaster hill in the “green goat”, an old Dodge that l’m sure deserved that name! I was probably doing homework while Gina and Bobbie were driving all that motley crew to the Dairy Queen on 28th Street! Phooey, wish l’d been there! We hope that all the sweet happy memories fill your heart during these days. Love to you all!

I have many good memories with Jimmy. I will miss him. The greatest gift Jimmy gave the world were his beautiful children - Jason, Amy, Jennifer, John and Anthony. His legacy, and sense of humor, lives on.
