Jesus "Jesse" Castillo

FORT WORTH -- Jesus Castillo, 57, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016.
Service: 6 p.m. Monday at Lamb of God Church, 3615 Maurice St., Fort Worth, 76111.
Interment with honors: 9:15 a.m. Tuesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: He will be in state at 11 a.m. Monday at Lamb of God Church.
       
Jesse was born Jan. 19, 1959, in Kenosha, Wis., to Viviano and Elida Castillo. He served 15 years in the U.S. Air Force as a staff sergeant from February 1977 to July 1992.
       
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandmother, Trinidad Puente.
       
Survivors: He is survived by his loving wife, Maria De la Paz Cortez; sons, Brian Eric, Brandon Alexander, Steven Craig and Jesse Joe Castillo; brothers, David and Leo Castillo; sisters, Victoria Castillo and Stella Castillo Verona and husband, Victor; four grandchildren; several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews; and many loving family members and friends.
