Doris "Margie" Recio-Balandran

Doris “Margie” Recio-Balandran, born on July 20, 1955, went home to be with the Lord on January 12, 2018 at the age of 62.  

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was also a staff claims associate at Allstate Insurance Company where she worked for 28 years.  

Doris loved to spend time with her grandchildren, and other family. She also loved to travel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gregorio Balandran and Ursula Balandran, and brother, Gregorio Balandran Jr.​

She is survived by her daughter, Julie Ramirez and husband Jamie; sons, Ruben Vasquez III, Alex Vasquez and wife Autumn, Jesse Vasquez, Jacob Perales; brothers, Alfred Balandran and Raymond Balandran; sisters,  Kathy Balandran and Josie Ramirez; four grandchildren, Halle Kennedy, Jamie Ramirez Jr., Dallas Vasquez, Jesse Vasquez Jr. and several nieces and nephews.  

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Friday, January 19 at 7 p.m.

A visitation at 6:00 p.m. will be at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, 5550 E. Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas,  with a recitation of the Holy Rosary to follow at 7 p.m.

Her funeral will be Saturday, January 20, 11 a.m., also at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 2301 N. Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111.
