Mary Claudette Livingston Mary Claudette Livingston, 64, of Justin, Texas, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas. Mary was a gifted cook and baker who filled her home with the comforting smells of warm meals and fresh-baked treats, always made with love for her family. She could sing with the best of them and had a voice that lit up any room. Tough as nails, she didn’t take any nonsense—but she would do anything for the people she loved. Her door was always open, and she welcomed family members in and out of her home whenever they needed a safe place to land. Mary is survived by the love of her life, her ex-husband, Kevin Livingston, whom she loved until the very end, and his mother, Bonita Holbeck. She is also survived by her daughter, Patricia Kocurek and son-in-law, Jimmy Kocurek, who cared for her faithfully until her last breath; her son, Tony Warner; her stepson, Joseph Novelli and his husband, Leonard Novelli; her siblings, Tommy, Billy, Joann, and Michelle and many grandchildren. Those grandchildren include, Jorden Tomplait, Brooke Warner, Tony Warner Jr., Caroline Bruner, Kayla, Jason, Daniel Gomez, Cpl. Julia Kocurek (USMC—whom Mary was so very proud of), Jennifer Kocurek, Johanna Kocurek and James Kocurek III. She also cherished several nieces and nephews she proudly claimed as her own: Vanessa, Kelly, Stacy, Tommy, Kathrine, and little Brad. Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Jerry Bria, her stepfather, Billy Bria, her father, Claude Warner Sr., her siblings, Debra Kay and Claude Warner Jr., and her niece, Magan Ann and Chelsea Mckella. The family has chosen to forgo a traditional service. Lasting Impressions will handle her cremation with dignity. In lieu of flowers, donations to assist with final arrangements are appreciated and may be sent to 1920 Copper Mountain, Justin, TX 76247. Mary’s warm kitchen, her beautiful voice, her strength, and her endless love for her family will be remembered forever. She will be deeply missed. 2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
