Linda Joyce Raley On Friday December 19, 2025, at 11:30pm, Linda Joyce Raley, 82, departed this world and awoke in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. SHE WAS HOME! She was the oldest child born, May 23, 1943 into the Bacon family, father, J.D. and mother, Jean along with three brothers, Gary, Grady and Joe. They were raised in a God-fearing church, Trentman Ave Baptist Church (Pleasantview Baptist Church), and at an early age she began learning all she could about the Bible, teaching Sunday School and music. After graduation from Poly High School, she met, fell in love with, and married Tommy Raley. They surrendered to the ministry and went to Bible Baptist Seminary to prepare for the Lord’s work. She loved working next to her husband as a wife, mother and preacher’s wife. She excelled at all three. Linda served with her husband, Tommy on the mission field, building churches in Colombia, South America and Mexico. Together they served at three different churches in the states with a joyful heart and a grateful spirit. They completed their active service as Directors of the World Baptist Fellowship Missions Agency for over 25 years. She will be remembered for her extraordinary kindness and deep spiritual nature; she was an elegant and beautiful woman, graceful and genuine, sincere and thoughtful. She had unconditional love for everyone in her life. Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Raley, parents J.D. and Jean Bacon and brother, Grady Bacon. She is survived by her brothers, Gary Bacon (Monnie), and Joe Bacon (Phyllis); her sons, Michael Raley (Kim); Andy Raley (Tracie); David Raley (Cindy); Joel Raley (Shannon); her grandchildren, Rachel Green (Bruce); Brandon Raley (Sarah); Brittany Womack (Stephen); Talia Barker (Asher); Cody Raley (Lindsay); Curtis Raley (Monica); Jake Raley (Allie); Kyle, Kailey and Chloe Raley; Rachel Raley; Johnnie Wilds; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 12:30pm with a visitation prior to begin at 11:00am at Pleasantview Baptist Church, 4400 Pleasantview Dr., Arlington, Tx 76017. Interment to follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park, Kennedale, Tx. In lieu of flowers, her family would like donations to be made in Linda's name to World Baptist Fellowship Missions, P. O. Box 13459, Arlington, Tx 76094.

Linda, You have been my precious sister-in-love for over 54 years—part of my life (that I can remember) since 1960–and my heart aches, for selfish reasons, knowing you’re no longer here. I miss you already.

Prayers for this sweet ladys' families. She was a true example of a Proverbs 31 lady. Jesus shone through her inside and out. You will be missed here on earth, but now you are walking with Jesus!! Love you my friend.
