John Hill Jr John Hill Jr., age 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 8, 2026. A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 12:00 pm at New Beginnings Baptist Church, 6540 Glenview Dr., Fort Worth, Texas 76180. John Hill Jr., age 65, was born on June 17, 1960, in Gary, Indiana, to Daisy Hill and John Hill Sr. He peacefully departed this life on February 8, 2026. John was a man whose presence filled every room. Born and raised in Gary, Indiana, he later made his home in Minnesota and Texas, building lifelong friendships everywhere he went. No one was a stranger to him and he embraced people from all cultures with warmth and respect. He was a hardworking and dedicated provider throughout his life. John developed his work ethics at a young age working at Indiana Sugars. He also worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a correctional officer, lastly retiring as a truck driver. No matter the role, he took pride in his work and carried himself with strength and integrity. With his natural ability to motivate and encourage others, similar to one in military service, many would say he could have easily been an Army recruiter. John had a deep love for motorcycles and the open road. He was the proud founder and president of the Tombstone Riders Biker's Club in Minnesota, where brotherhood and loyalty meant everything to him. Alongside motorcycles, he had a well-known passion for Cadillac cars and appreciation for their style and power just as much as he did life itself. He enjoyed traveling and fishing whenever he had a chance. Family meant the world to John. He loved firing up the grill and bringing everyone together for barbecues filled with laughter, stories, and connection. Those gatherings were a reflection of who he was—a man who cherished unity, love, and togetherness. He was known for his humor and unforgettable sayings. If someone made a mistake, he would jokingly ask, “How did your brain leave your body that fast?”—a phrase delivered with a smile and a lesson wrapped in laughter. Whenever he called family or friends, he would start the conversation with, “I ain't gone hold you long…” You had better get comfortable, because that call was going to last a while. John was preceded in death by his parents, Daisy Lee and John Hill Sr. and his loving sister Irma Jean Hill. John leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Shirley Hill; his children, LaQuisha Johnson, Tashana Hill, Brandy (Todd) Harris, Michele (James) Blacknell, and Philip Moore ( Austin, TX); his siblings, Vivian (Leon) Durham, Henry (Carol) Hill, Danny Hill, Lachanda Hill, and Sylvester Scott; 13 grandchildren; and more than 32 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host of extended family members, friends, and brothers and sisters of the riding community who will forever honor his legacy. John Hill Jr. will be remembered for his strength, humor, leadership, and the love he poured into his family and community. His legacy rides on in every life he touched.

Damn, my brother you are truly gonna be missed. I don't know what I am going to do with all this time on my hands now that you have earned your wings. No more 2-3 hour phone calls about absolutely nothing. The laughs and jokes will be missed. Love ❤️ you my brother until we see each other again. May God Bless you and rest easy. #NOMOREPAIN.

To all my family — especially my sisters and brothers — please cherish every moment, every memory, and every minute you shared with my dad. Those are gifts that can never be replaced, and we were truly blessed to have them. Hold on to them and never forget.
