Gregory Eugene Faurot Gregory Eugene Faurot, 66, was born on October 24, 1959, in Dodge City, Kansas, the same hospital that his mother, Myrth was born in. He passed away on June 11, 2026, from complications from a fall. Greg loved being with family and friends. He loved hunting pheasants, quail, and dove in the fields outside of Dodge City, Kansas. He loved the ocean and going to his family’s lake house and fishing. He was in band and played the tuba at L.D. Bell High School, which he graduated from in 1979. He went onto TCJC and DeVry Institute where he graduated with honors. He performed in numerous musicals and sang in choir while in high school as well as in college. He loved singing Men’s Barbershop and was a member of the Texas Millionaires Barbershop Chorus, which produced several CDs and went to International Competitions. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. Greg was proceeded in death by his father, Eugene Robert Faurot “Gene Bob”. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Stacia Morgan Faurot; mother, Myrth Heckel Faurot; brothers, Ron Faurot and wife, Michelle, Steve Faurot and wife, Tina; eight nieces and nephews; seven grand nieces and nephews and numerous cousins and friends. Memorial Service: 11:00am Saturday, July 11, 2026, at First United Methodist Church, 521 W Pipeline Rd., Hurst, TX 76053.
