David was like sunshine, always telling stories that made everyone laugh. I remember him telling me a story about him leaving school early one day and the security guard chasing him as he tried to drive away. I laughed so hard it made my stomach hurt. I will forever remember the sound of his amazing laugh and how he lit up the room. I feel lucky that I knew him and worked with him for so many years at Harris. My heart goes out to his family.

David, I miss you . You were my best friend and like my brother. I kick myself now for all the times I asked you to hangout , knowing how you were hurting inside. I gave you space, instead I should have just came over everyday and cheered you up.

David was so many things to all of us, for me a brother and a friend. He will be greatly missed but always remembered for his compassion and goofiness. The last few years were okay for David but not as good as they used to be; but they should not overshadow the great life he lived before and the amazing person he was. A friend of ours said he was making Jesus laugh now and I do think that is definitely true and more importantly he is also watching us and is not in any pain anymore.
