I remember before he joined the Army, he would take me and my sisters around Little Rock and introduce us to all our cousins.

My deepest condolences to you and the family. May GOD comfort and give you peace. He was one of my coolest cousin.

I'm really sad to see Bernard has passed. I was fortunate to have served with him in the Army for some time over in Germany. The last I heard from him some time back was that he was in the recording studio with his sax. He was a wonderful soul, it was great to have been able to share some time with him in this thing called live, as well as our mutual love of jazz and sax playing. Rest in peace good sir.
