![]() February 7th, 1977 ~ March 29th, 2025 With heavy hearts and sincerest regrets we announce the passing of Ann Nannette Driskill. Ann was born on February 7th, 1977, later adopted by parents Larry and Gayle Driskill. Ann was an intelligent and creative person, with a deep love for both music and writing. She spent many of her days learning to play her favorite songs on the piano, or reading and writing in pursuit of her love of poetry. One of the greater joys and achievements of Ann’s life were her two daughters, Starla and Carissa. She beamed at the thought of her children's success and happiness, and missed no opportunity to show off their shine. For being a self-described introvert, Ann was quite the social butterfly, having conversations with friends late into the night and sharing bits of her life with strangers who crossed her path. She never shied away from sharing her essence with the rest of the world. Ann passed away during a stay in the hospital on March 29th, 2025. She was surrounded by love, friends, family, and comfort. Ann was a bright and determined light who inspired those around her, never to be dimmed by the troubles she may have faced. She showed the people around her the importance of strength and resilience, especially through the heaviest of times. There wasn’t a thing that Ann was afraid of, a small vessel for such bravery. She lived each day with tenacity and persistence, in hope to build a life for herself and her daughters. Ann was a gentle mother, cherished sister, loving daughter, and devoted friend; she will be missed beyond what words could ever convey. Her spirit will carry on throughout those who remember her in love and in light. Memorial Service will take place Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at Parker Memorial Cemetery, 3900 William D Tate Ave., Grapevine, TX 76051, with viewing and family will welcome guests. |
